WELLSBORO, Pa. (WENY) — A free seminar aimed at helping senior citizens protect themselves from fraud is scheduled for next week in Tioga County.
The event will cover common types of scams involving fraud, cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence. Participants will also learn how to safeguard their finances and identify suspicious activity on their accounts, as well as how to report scams to law enforcement.
The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Wellsboro Fireman’s Annex on East Avenue. You can register here.
