Real estate analytics giant CoreLogic has admitted it covertly logged into its main rival’s database and exported 160,000 construction project reports for years, but says the breach was inconsequential, did not include valuable information and caused no commercial damage.
In a Federal Court trial that has been five years in the making, Hubexo, a construction project data firm formerly known as BCI Central, has accused CoreLogic of “systematic and wholesale” corporate hacking on an industrial scale.
