A data breach at Standard Bank could result in more than a terabyte of customer data being leaked online, after the bank said it was subject to “unauthorised” third-party access to its data.

A hacker group has claimed to have stolen 1.2 terabytes of Standard Bank’s data, which the bank has said is being leaked online.
