Families attending the Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce Spring Trade Show and Marketplace will have access to a child safety resource through a Child ID Clinic hosted by FCSS Lacombe.

The clinic is being offered in partnership with Lacombe Police and Victim Services, providing parents and guardians the opportunity to complete Child ID kits on site.

Child safety resource available on site

The Child Safe Workshop is taking place today (April 17) from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday (April 18) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the trade show, held at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex.

Organizers say the process is quick and designed to help families be prepared in case of an emergency.

“Complete a child ID card because having the right information at the right time can make all the difference,” organizers said.
