Spin.AI, a Palo Alto-based AI-powered enterprise software security platform, has acquired Revyz, an Atlassian Gold Marketplace Partner specializing in backup and configuration management for Jira and Confluence. The deal brings unified data protection and configuration management to organizations running Atlassian solutions alongside Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Revyz addresses gaps left by native Atlassian backup tools, delivering enterprise-grade capabilities including automated backup, granular restore, configuration drift detection, sandbox-to-production workflows, data residency controls, and data access during Atlassian outages. Existing Revyz customers will continue using the same product, now supported by Spin.AI’s broader engineering, security, and support infrastructure.
The combined platform gives organizations a single solution spanning automated backup and granular restore, ransomware protection, eDiscovery, archiving, data loss prevention, and security posture management across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Slack, Jira, and Confluence. The acquisition responds to a broader enterprise trend toward vendor consolidation. A recent study by cybersecurity research firm IANS found that nearly 70% of CISOs are actively using security platforms to reduce vendor sprawl.
