SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Sandy Springs Police say a child predator sting operation resulted in three arrests.
In an April 24 social media post, the department said it had been conducting “a proactive child predator operation aimed at protecting our community’s most vulnerable.”
“During the operation, three adult males traveled to Sandy Springs believing they were meeting a 15-year-old child to engage in sexual acts in exchange for money. They were met by our officers and taken into custody,” authorities said.
Derrell Green, 41, of McClellanville, S.C., was arrested and booked at the Fulton County Jail on April 21. Antonio Thackston, 43, of Tuscumbia, Ala., and Jacob Holloway, 38, of Lawrenceville, Ga., were arrested and booked at the Fulton County Jail on April 22.
They are all charged with trafficking a person for sexual servitude and criminal attempt to commit a felony, according to Fulton County Jail online records.
Anyone with information or who suspects human trafficking is asked to call the Sandy Springs Police Department at 770-551-6900.
