Korea unveils private-sector cybersecurity plan to address AI-driven threats
South Korea’s ministry of science and ICT has announced a new information security strategy aimed at helping the private sector respond to cyber threats enabled by increasingly capable AI systems. The plan sets out a combination of immediate measures and longer-term initiatives designed to strengthen cybersecurity across industry and establish what the ministry describes as national AI security sovereignty.
