LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — More than 312,000 battery packs sold through Amazon have been recalled because of child safety risks.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the EEMB Lithium Battery Packs are in pouches that are not child-resistant as required by law.
If a child swallows button cell or coin batteries, the batteries could cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns.
Models for the recall include: CR2025, CR2032, CR2450, CR2477, CR2016, CR1220, CR1225, CR1616, CR1620, CR1632 and CR2025-10.
Batteries were sold via Amazon.com from August 2023 through April 2026 for between $3 and $9.
Consumers are urged to dispose of the batteries or recycle them following local hazardous waste procedures.
