A hacker with a penchant for targeting Australian organisations is claiming to have added another victim to their growing list of data breaches.

The threat actor, 2019, a prominent member of a popular underground hacking forum, said in a 3 June post that they had gained access to the data of more than 53,300 customers of the luxury travel website, FirstClass.com.au.

According to the hacker, the compromised data includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, account status, and preferred airport. However, a sample of the allegedly breached data revealed that the majority of these fields are in reality blank – the data consists mostly of names, emails, and phone numbers.

Threat actor 2019 has published the contents of the alleged breach for free.

Cyber Daily has reached out to FirstClass for comment and is yet to receive a response.

Who is 2019?

Threat actor 2019 has been active on underground hacking forums since early 2026 and has made a total of 19 leak posts in that time.

The hacker’s victims are predominantly Australian. Recent victims that have confirmed cyber incidents are the Melbourne International Film Festival and workplace catering firm Hampr.

While Australian organisations appear to be 2019’s preferred target, they have also listed entities from the United States, the United Arab Emirates, France, and Italy.

“Everything I post comes from me” is 2019’s signature on their forum posts.
