561 Predator Catcher sting ends in arrest of Greenacres man at Wawa | #childpredator | #onlinepredator | #sextrafficing

A 46-year-old Greenacres man was arrested Thursday after trying to meet a 14-year-old girl at a Boynton Beach Wawa, an arrest that was delayed because he was serving time for a different online predator sting.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Robin Blanchard contacted an adult decoy from the group “561 Predator Catcher” on May 29, 2025. The decoy was posing as a teenage girl on the dating app MeetMe before the conversation moved to text messages.

Investigators said Blanchard continued communicating and sent explicit images of himself, even after being told she was 14. He then arranged to meet her on June 15, 2025, at the Wawa at 2505 W. Woolbright Road. When Blanchard arrived, members of the online group confronted him before officers took over the investigation.

A forensic review of Blanchard’s cellphone later confirmed the messages. During a detective interview, Blanchard reportedly admitted he knew the person was underage, stating, “I was lonely, and somebody started talking to me, and I really shouldn’t have.”

Though the Wawa incident occurred first, court records reveal Blanchard could not be formally arrested on those charges until this Thursday due to an overlapping case.

According to the official court records, Blanchard was taken into custody on August 8, 2025, for a separate undercover sting. In that case, a Boynton Beach Police Department detective posed as a 13-year-old girl on the KIK messaging app.

Affidavits show Blanchard acknowledged the child’s age, sent explicit photos, and arranged a meeting for sex at The Inn hotel at 480 W. Boynton Beach Blvd. He instructed the undercover detective to wait by the pool so they would not be seen walking in together. When Blanchard arrived at the hotel with an unopened box of condoms, police arrested him.

Blanchard was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Thursday, charged with using a computer to seduce or lure a child and traveling to meet a minor for unlawful sexual conduct.
