Production of fairlife milk, a dairy company owned by Coca-Cola, is offline in the U.S. due to a ransomware event.
Product quality and safety for milk currently on shelves has not been impacted, but fairlife production is temporarily suspended as the attack is investigated. Fairlife products include ultra-filtered milk, ultra-filtered milk in 14 ounces, Core Power Protein Shakes and Nutrition Plan from fairlife.
“The company’s investigation and assessment of the impact of the incident is ongoing, with the assistance of outside advisors and cybersecurity experts,” according to the release. “The company has also notified law enforcement. The full scope, nature and impacts of the incident are not yet known.”
Canadian production has not been impacted.
