HARRISBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Mifflin County man will serve a life sentence after pleading guilty to possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
On Tuesday, Attorney General Dave Sunday announced Zachary P. Keiser, 36, of McVeytown pleaded guilty to possessing 450 files of CSAM. The conviction is a third-strike offense that will result in a sentence of life without the possibility of parole.
“The third-strike sentencing structure is in place in Pennsylvania to protect communities from repeat offenders like Zachary Keiser,” Sunday said. “Prior convictions and registration requirements have not changed the behavior of this proven child predator, so society — children specifically — must be protected.”
Keiser was previously convicted of sexually assaulting children in 2009 and 2013. He was a registered sex offender and was deemed a sexually violent predator, in 2019, by a sentencing judge.

Keiser will be formally sentenced on Oct. 22.
