On July 23, members of the Union City Police Department gave a presentation to senior citizens at Manly Heights Apartments about scams and how senior citizens can prevent themselves from becoming a victim. Scam calls are, unfortunately, a frequent occurrence for the Union City Police Department. “Our hope is that educating our community can minimize this horrible trend,” Union City Police Chief David Pernice said.
