BARNSTABLE — A West Barnstable man and former NHL player — charged with electronic enticement of a child for sex — should not have to register as a sex offender, according to his attorney, at a recent court hearing, in advance of the man’s change of plea.
But a Barnstable Superior Court judge seemed unlikely to allow that, according to comments made at the July 24 hearing.
