OLIGO Security raises $60m to counter AI-speed attacks #AI

OLIGO

OLIGO Security, the runtime security company, has raised $60m in fresh funding as it races to help organisations keep pace with attacks that are now being planned and executed by AI at machine speed.

The round takes OLIGO’s total funding to $140m and drew backing from Ballistic Ventures, Canon Capital, Greenfield Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Red Dot Capital Partners and TLV Partners, alongside angel investors including Eyal Waldman, the co-founder of Mellanox Technologies, which NVIDIA acquired for $6.9bn.

The company said the raise caps a strong year of growth, with revenue climbing 300% year-on-year and its valuation more than doubling since its Series B.

Over the same period, OLIGO was named by AWS as its exclusive AI runtime security partner for AWS Security Hub Extended, and it joined Palantir’s FedStart Programme to speed up its route to FedRAMP High and DoD Impact Level 5 authorisation. The firm also launched Runtime Exploit Blocking, a capability that detects and stops exploit attempts at the application layer as they happen.

OLIGO plans to put the new capital towards product development and expanding its go-to-market operations internationally, as it works towards its goal of helping businesses block zero-day and n-day exploits before they cause damage.

The company provides runtime security for applications, cloud workloads and AI systems, pairing continuous visibility into live code execution with real-time protection. This lets customers intercept exploit attempts without disrupting production systems, filter out unnecessary vulnerability alerts and gain breathing room between patch releases through virtual patching.

The rise in enterprise adoption of OLIGO’s platform, together with the milestones reached over the past year, points to a broader shift in how the market is responding to AI-enabled threats, with runtime protection increasingly viewed as essential rather than optional.

OLIGO Security co-founder and CEO Nadav Czerninski said, “AI has fundamentally changed the economics of exploitation. When attackers can find vulnerabilities and build exploits at machine speed, runtime becomes the only place you can definitively understand true risk and stop attacks without impacting production. Our investors have seen this transition firsthand through the outcomes we drive for customers, and they’re doubling down because they know runtime will define the next era of cybersecurity.”
