VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – The Vincennes Community School Corporation said Tuesday it is shutting down its servers after a ransomware attack hit its technology provider.
School officials said the district’s technology provider, AME, is dealing with a ransomware attack originating from one of its customers.
Phones, internet affected
Out of an abundance of caution, school officials said they are shutting down the district’s servers. As a result, phones and internet at the school corporation building will be unavailable.
The district said in a social media post that none of its data had been compromised.
