Shlomo Kramer is the co-founder and CEO of Cato Networks. Since the company’s inception in 2015, Shlomo has led Cato to become a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) leader, enabling enterprises to provide the global networking and security capabilities necessary for modern businesses. A pioneer in cybersecurity, Shlomo co-founded Imperva in 2002, guiding it to its initial public offering in 2011. He also co-founded Check Point Software in 1993, steering it to becoming a publicly traded company in 1996. Shlomo has additionally been an early investor in successful cybersecurity firms such as Palo Alto Networks, Lacoon Security, and Sumo Logic. Currently, Shlomo serves on the boards of Cato Networks, Aqua Security, Exabeam, At-Bay, and Gong. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University. Shlomo is also a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces’ intelligence-gathering Unit 8200.
