LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Five men were arrested in Bartholomew County during a multi-agency sting operation targeting alleged online child sex offenders.

According to a release from the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office, the following men were arrested:

  • Matthew Ciske, 48, of Richmond, Indiana
  • Andrew Donat, 59, of Indianapolis, Indiana
  • David Hahn, 48, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky
  • Luis Nunez Machuca, 37, of Streamwood, Illinois
  • Nathan Jones, 49, of Thorntown, Indiana

According to investigators, the men traveled over 400 miles “believing they were going to have sexual contact with minors” in Columbus, Indiana.

All five men were charged with child solicitation and attempted sexual misconduct with a minor. Jones also faces additional charges of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia.

The investigation was led by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force with the help of more than 10 law enforcement agencies across Indiana.
