Anonymous Alerts plans to expand its workforce and build ties with Connecticut schools and universities.
A school safety technology company has relocated its headquarters from White Plains, New York, to Stamford, where it plans to expand its workforce and develop new products.
Anonymous Alerts announced it has opened its new headquarters at 60 Long Ridge Road. The company did not disclose the office’s size, number of employees or expected job growth.
Founder and CEO T. Gregory Bender said Stamford’s workforce, transportation infrastructure, proximity to New York City and technology sector influenced the relocation.
The company plans to add employees in technology, sales, marketing and customer support, although it has not established a hiring target or timetable. Bender said the new office provides space for its operations and technology teams and room for future growth.
Anonymous Alerts also intends to pursue partnerships with Connecticut colleges, universities and school districts, along with internship programs.
“In fact, yesterday we participated in UConn Stamford’s part-time job fair and met several highly qualified candidates,” Bender said. “We see our proximity to UConn Stamford and other area colleges and universities as an important resource as we continue to build our team.”
Anonymous Alerts provides technology that allows students, parents and school employees to confidentially report bullying, threats, weapons, mental health concerns, harassment and other safety issues. Its products also include emergency communication, incident management and mass-notification systems used by schools and other organizations nationwide.
The company said its customers include Connecticut school districts, but it declined to disclose a comprehensive customer count.
