Government Commercial Agency’s Facilities Management and Security Services framework names Amey as a supplier

Amey has been named as a supplier on Government Commercial Agency’s (GCA) RM6378 Facilities Management and Security Services framework, strengthening its position as a leading provider of integrated facilities management services to public sector organisations across the UK.

The framework provides customers with access to a broad range of facilities management and security services and is available to central government departments, local authorities, healthcare organisations, emergency services, educational institutions and other public bodies. The agreement combines the previous Facilities Management & Workplace Services and Security Services frameworks into a single procurement route, creating a comprehensive vehicle for buyers.

Amey has been appointed to three of four Lots available via the framework which include:

  • Lot 1: Total Facilities Management
  • Lot 2: Hard Facilities Management
  • Lot 3: Soft Facilities Management

Being named on these lots reinforces the company’s long-standing role in supporting critical public services and managing complex infrastructure environments across the UK’s Defence, Justice, Education, Health and Nuclear sectors.

Craig McGilvray, Managing Director for Amey, said: “Being named on GCA’s Facilities Management and Security Services framework is an important milestone for our business and reflects the strength of the expertise and experience we bring to some of the UK’s most complex and critical environments. As customers face increasing pressure to improve performance, reduce carbon emissions and deliver greater value for taxpayers, we look forward to working collaboratively with organisations across the public sector to help them achieve their objectives.”

Being named on the framework further strengthens Amey’s growing presence as a critical supplier to UK Government, including the defence and nuclear sectors and supports the company’s ambition to expand its role in markets that are critical to the security, resilience and readiness of the United Kingdom.
