Myagdi. Her grandson has been arrested on charges of hacking to death 72-year-old Mankumari Ghimire with a sharp weapon in Khabara of Beni Municipality-2, Myagdi.
Around 11:30 AM on Monday, Mankumari was hacked to death with a sharp weapon by her daughter’s son, 26-year-old Ashish Baruwal, who then fled. As soon as the news of the accused fleeing after attacking with a sharp weapon was received, a police team of 15 people led by Police Inspector Sagar Timilsina from the District Police Office, Myagdi, was dispatched.
During the search, the police took Baruwal under control from Hadebhir in Beni Municipality-2 while he was fleeing. The police have stated that the necessary investigation and evidence collection regarding the incident are underway.
