The Settra cyber extortion group has listed an Australian portrait studio as one of its latest victims on its darknet leak site and is claiming to have exfiltrated more than 100 gigabytes of data, including thousands of wedding photos and family portraits.
The hackers made the claim in a 3 September leak post, complete with what appears to be an AI-generated summary of the stolen dataset.

“Verve Portraits Pty Ltd archive contains COMPLETE archive of photo studio network operations,” Settra said in a “prologue” outlining the leaked data.
“Registry of 50+ employees and contractors from all branches and outsourcing partners, including complete names, home addresses, dates of birth, personal phone numbers (+61 Australia phones, +63 Philippines phones), personal email addresses, complete hiring histories, three different contract conditions, daily rates, monthly salaries, reasons for disciplinary measures and final warnings.”
If the AI summary is to be believed, within five days, Settra will publish the personal details of more than 5,000 Verve clients, along with more than 10,000 photographic files from weddings, corporate clients, and family photos and events.
The data also allegedly contains company financial information and HR data, including disciplinary notes.
“This article presents only part of the data we have chosen to disclose,” Settra said.
“All remaining information will be available for download and independent review after the full archive is released.”
Verve Portraits did not respond to Cyber Daily’s request for comment.
Who is Settra?
Settra has only been active since June 2026, but has claimed more than 60 victims in that time. It is one of at least a dozen new groups to emerge in the last few months. The group’s most recent Australian victim was Downies Collectables, which was listed by the hackers in July.
There is little hard data on the group; however, Settra describes itself as being purely financially motivated:

If there is access – there is a target. If there is a target – there is a deal. If there is no deal – there is publication. It’s that simple.”

Verve Portraits operates studios in NSW, Victoria, and Queensland and specialises in family photography, including couples, maternity, and newborn shoots.
The company runs a school partnerships program and supports several charities.
