Oregon-Davis School Corporation announced recently that it has been awarded $84,280 through Indiana’s Secured School Safety Grant Program.
The school corporation was among schools across Indiana recently awarded funding through the Secured School Safety Grant Program.
The school corporation says the funding will allow it to continue investing in safety and security measures for students, staff and school facilities.
Oregon-Davis says previous Secured School Safety Grant funding, along with local investments, has helped fund multiple layers of school safety.
Those measures include the CENTEGIX CrisisAlert System, Raptor Visitor Management system, PikMyKid dismissal system, a full-time School Resource Officer and Oregon-Davis Police Department, along with video and camera systems.
School officials say the latest grant will allow the corporation to continue building on those investments.
