Keizer Police Chief Andrew Copeland’s computer was recently breached by a “malicious program,” which sent numerous automated emails to his contacts appearing to seek login information or credentials, according to a city statement.
On Tuesday, Sept. 1, emails were sent to public safety agencies, businesses, organizations and members of the community, a social media post by the police department said.
