Application security company Sparrow said it took part in GISEC 2026, being held in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from Sept. 16, and shared measures to strengthen software supply chain security, spanning from code to SBOM.
Sparrow said it will use the event to speed up its push into the Middle East security market.
At the event, Sparrow presented a method for writing secure code by connecting Sparrow MCP to Cursor and Claude Code.
The company said Sparrow MCP is an AI-generated code security assistant that immediately analyses code generated or modified by AI in response to natural-language requests. It supports secure coding by analysing and verifying security vulnerabilities as soon as code is written.
Sparrow CEO Il-soo Jang (장일수) said, “This event is an important occasion to introduce Sparrow’s technology, proven in the domestic application security market, to the Middle East market.” He added, “As AI adoption accelerates and embedding security throughout the entire software development process emerges as a key task for companies worldwide, we will be able to continuously create tangible business results in the Middle East security market.”
