A former doctor from Farmington Hills convicted of receiving child pornography has been sentenced, officials said.
A federal court judge in Detroit gave Lincoln Erickson nine years in prison on Tuesday, according to court records.
The 32-year-old must also register as a sex offender as part of his sentence, said Jerome Gorgon, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan.
He faced up to 20 years in prison.
