The state court system was targeted by criminal hackers or their bots who copied “personally identifiable information” about many Arizonans, authorities said Friday night.
Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Ann Scott Timmer said court IT staff discovered the attack and took steps to stop it.
Court leaders said they believe the criminal hackers copied “personally identifiable information about many Arizonans,” according to a letter the chief justice released Friday night.
