AhnLab put its AI-based security operations framework front and center at a global security conference in Singapore, accelerating its push into the Asia-Pacific market.
AhnLab announced on the 18th that it participated in GovWare 2026, held from the 13th to the 15th at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, where it showcased its AI Security Operations Center (SOC), IT-OT converged cyber-physical system (CPS) security, and threat intelligence (TI) capabilities under its integrated brand “AhnLab AI PLUS.”
GovWare is a side event of Singapore International Cyber Week, organized by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA). With demand for AI security solutions to protect business infrastructure growing rapidly in Singapore—a key financial and technology hub in Asia—more than 500 security officials from institutions and enterprises across Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, India, and the Philippines visited AhnLab’s booth.
AI SOC Draws the Spotlight
The AI SOC captured the most attention from attendees. The system employs multiple AI agents that collaborate to triage critical security alerts, analyze threat context, and support everything from generating analysis reports to response decision-making. The core value proposition is reducing the burden of repetitive analysis work on security personnel while enabling faster, more consistent judgment.
AhnLab explained that it pursues “Controlled Autonomy”—expanding AI’s autonomous capabilities while maintaining governance through authority, policy, audit, and approval frameworks. This means AI is designed to make decisions and respond on its own, but only within boundaries defined by humans.
Expectations for the AI SOC are likely to translate beyond mere interest into actual business opportunities. Lee Sang-kuk, head of AhnLab’s Marketing and Global Business Division, said, “Building on the strong interest in our AI SOC confirmed at GovWare, we will apply AhnLab’s AI-native security capabilities to global customer environments and convert them into business results.”
Industrial Security and Threat Intelligence
With cyber threats targeting operational technology (OT) environments such as manufacturing and industrial sites on the rise, AhnLab’s CPS security capabilities also drew renewed attention. The company’s integrated security framework spanning both IT and OT environments, along with security measures that account for industrial operational continuity, resonated strongly with attendees.
The threat intelligence platform “AhnLab TIP” leveraged its strength in deep-dive analysis of major threat groups in the Asia-Pacific region. Visitors took note of its ability to identify the background and characteristics of attacks and apply that insight to proactive threat detection and response.
On the 14th, during the event, Lee Jeong-wook, a manager at AhnLab’s Security Intelligence Center (ASEC), took the stage as an officially invited speaker. He shared the latest threat cases from the Asia-Pacific region and explained AhnLab’s analytical expertise and the value of its intelligence capabilities.
Progress in the Singapore Market
AhnLab used its participation in the event not merely as a technology showcase but as an opportunity to validate interim progress in its Singapore market strategy. Lee Sang-kuk emphasized, “Our strategy reflecting local market characteristics and demand is producing concrete results, including securing customer references in endpoint security and threat intelligence in Singapore.”
AhnLab AI PLUS is an integrated brand representing AhnLab’s AI-native security strategy and direction, as well as a platform and architecture concept that organically connects its technologies, products, and services. It aims to link data scattered across products and domains into a unified security context, with an agentic AI-based architecture in which multiple AI agents collaborate to execute security operations.
As demand for AI-based security expands rapidly across the Asia-Pacific region, attention is focused on what position AhnLab will establish in competition with global security companies using Singapore as its base.
