“We commend the work of California DOJ, Clovis PD and Breaking the Chains for working together to arrest human traffickers, child predators, those soliciting prostitution, and to assist victims who may not have any resources available to them.” – CSLEA President Alan Barcelona
CLOVIS – Nine suspects in Clovis were arrested October 16-17 during a two-day undercover operation targeting human traffickers and child predators. Clovis Police conducted this operation with the assistance of the California Department of Justice, and Breaking the Chains, a local non-profit organization caring for victims of human trafficking.
Eight of 10 suspects were arrested without incident at various locations in Clovis. One suspect failed to pull over and led officers on a pursuit.
