Defense tech company opens St. Paul hub, joins statewide security ecosystem – Twin Cities

A defense technology company based near Washington, D.C., has set up shop in St. Paul.
Lyntris Inc., a company that designs, develops and provides connectivity solutions for “the modern battlespace,” has opened a technology hub on University Avenue, the company announced last week. It’s located in the Court building at 2550 W. University Ave., a former automotive and tractor hub converted to offices near Interstate 94, Minnesota 280 and the Green Line’s Raymond Avenue station.
The new facility will focus on AI-enabled readiness and contested logistics and will serve as a regional base for Lyntris’ product development, according to the company.
“Mission readiness is increasingly decided by whether parts, data and maintenance expertise can reach the fleet under pressure,” said Mike Frederickson, executive vice president at Lyntris, in a news release.

Three Lyntris products that the hub will focus on include: Tesio, a parts and supply chain intelligence platform that helps identify and mitigate risk in parts, microelectronics and supply chain; Ascend, a domain-trained AI assistant that delivers verified, source-cited answers from technical documentation; and ACCEL Suite, a military training software that applies AI and automation to accelerate curriculum development.
“Minnesota combines deep technical talent, a strong microelectronics and advanced manufacturing base and growing alignment with defense priorities,” Frederickson said. “Putting our product and engineering teams inside this ecosystem means the people who will use Lyntris products can see them, test them and shape them earlier.”
In addition to St. Paul, the company has software and engineering sites in Michigan, Indiana, New Jersey, Florida and California.
Its manufacturing sites can be found in Colorado, Massachusetts, California, Nevada, Florida, Texas and Maine.
MN National Security Ecosystem
Lyntris also announced last week that it has joined the Minnesota National Security Ecosystem, an organization dedicated to growing Minnesota’s national security and defense sector.

The membership-based, nonprofit-driven organization brings together industry, academia and government in an effort to facilitate information sharing, promote academic research, strengthen engagement with policymakers and support workforce development needs to foster job growth in Minnesota.
Members of the ecosystem include 3M Co., Greater MSP, North Wind, BioMADE, Mortenson, Stratasys, the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas.
The ecosystem also includes the Defense Innovation Unit On-Ramp Hub: Minnesota, which provides a pathway for companies to engage with the Department of War “and transition capabilities into use,” according to Lyntris.
