L.C.S. Hosts 3rd Annual Anti-Bullying Color Run | #childpredator | #kidsaftey | #childsaftey

LIMESTONE, Maine (WAGM) – Two county schools turned bullying awareness into a colorful afternoon today. This afternoon LCS hosted their 3rd annual “Too Cool to be a Bully” Color Run. Every student at Limestone Community School and Dawn F. Barnes Elementary took part. Students ran laps behind the school while getting covered in colored powder. Kids say it’s a fun way to promote bullying awareness. And over the last three years, they say it’s made a real impact.“It’s a run just to show that we don’t accept bullying here and we should just all be kind. It’ll affect so many and sometimes we see it and we don’t even notice it. I feel like it honestly helps. I feel like there’s definitely a lot less bullying going on here at our two schools as there has been in the past,” said Charlotte Tibbert, one of the LCS Color Run participants. “It’s a big problem and I think that it might not help as much as we want it to, but it’ll help a little bit. If there’s something going on, cyberbullying, talk to somebody about it,” added Landyn Richardson, another participant. Limestone and Caswell students ended the day with a little bit of color to remind them to be kind to one another.Copyright 2026 WAGM. All rights reserved.
