DA JOE KHAN ANNOUNCES NEW CHARGES AGAINST SERIAL PREDATOR • Bucks County, PA | #childpredator | #kidsaftey | #childsaftey

Emphasizing his Office’s commitment to the safety and protection of women and children across Bucks County, District Attorney Joe Khan announced today the filing of serious new criminal charges against Edward A. Eisenhard, who now stands accused of being a serial sexual predator who targeted female victims in both workplace and domestic settings.  The new charges include the strangulation and indecent assault of an employee at the Valley of Fear Halloween attraction in Lower Southampton Township, as well as the repeated abuse of a 12-year-old child.  This announcement comes as law enforcement expands its investigation, urging any additional potential victims or anyone with information regarding Eisenhard to immediately come forward.  “Halloween is the time when we send our little ones out dressed as Dracula and Frankenstein’s monster to Trick-or-Treat, but unfortunately some monsters are real and want to do violence to our children and other loved ones,” said DA Khan.  “The evidence gathered in these investigations reveals a calculated pattern of behavior by a serial predator who preyed upon vulnerable female victims. As a community-based DA’s Office, we are asking for the public’s help to ensure that this defendant is held fully accountable. If you were victimized by this individual, please know that you are not alone.  We will listen to you, we will fight for you and that we will do everything in our power to keep you and our community safe.” Eisenhard was initially arrested on Oct. 1 following an investigation by the Hilltown Township Police Department into an aggravated indecent assault reported at a Five Below store, where Eisenhard worked as a manager. Following that arrest, two additional victims came forward, including one who was assaulted by Eisenhard at the Valley of Fear Halloween attraction in Lower Southampton Township. Eisenhard, who had worked at the haunted theme attraction for 10 seasons, was her supervisor.  According to a criminal complaint, while on a break, Eisenhard approached a female employee while she was working alone on Sept. 25, 2026, the opening night of the Valley of Fear attraction. Unprovoked, he grabbed the victim tightly by her throat to the point that she had difficulty breathing, pinned both of her wrists above her head against a wall, made sexual comments, and indecently assaulted her over her clothing.  Eisenhard was terminated by Valley of Fear the next day. On Sept. 27, he then allegedly sexually assaulted the employee at Five Below.  In that case, the victim told police she was working inside the store when Eisenhard, her boss, had her clean the stockroom. As she was cleaning, Eisenhard made lewd comments before he restrained her and sexually assaulted her.  As the ongoing investigation has revealed additional allegations of similar behavior by Eisenhard at both Five Below and Valley of Fear, detectives with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office strongly believe that there are additional victims.  Law enforcement officials urge anyone who may have been a victim to contact Bucks County Detectives at 215-348-6354. For the Valley of Fear case, Eisenhard was charged with strangulation, simple assault, indecent assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct in the case.  In the Springfield Township case where he twice sexually assaulted a juvenile victim, Eisenhard was charged with four counts each of aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault and one count each of corruption of minors and harassment.   Eisenhard was unable to post bail for the Five Below assault, which was charged on Oct. 1.  For the new charges filed today, the District Attorney’s Office will request that Eisenhard be held without bail when he is arraigned. “Serial sexual predators should not be able to buy themselves out of jail,” said DA Khan. “This is why, with these new charges, we are requesting that this defendant be held without the possibility of posting cash bail, consistent with the policy I put in place when I took office to better protect the safety of the community.”  These cases are assigned for prosecution to Assistant District Attorney Victoria Pollock.  Criminal charges are allegations subject to proof in court. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
