Former TLC personality Deon Derrico has raised concerns about his children’s safety in an ongoing custody dispute with his ex-wife, Karen Derrico, alleging that she is spending time with a man accused of inappropriate touching in a daughter’s journal. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Deon wants the man kept away from their children. Deon stated in his court filing that 12 of the former couple’s 14 children live with him.He said he learned information that caused him “significant concern regarding the safety and welfare” of their minor children. According to the filing, Deon discovered journal entries in which one of his daughters alleged that the man had touched her inappropriately when she was younger. Deon expressed concern about the man’s continued presence around the children. He also claimed that he had raised the issue with Karen but that she dismissed his concerns.
