VANDERBURGH CO., Ind. (WFIE) – A Vanderburgh County man, set to go to trial in just a few weeks for child molesting, is now facing new charges for another victim. 51-year-old Jeffery Dewayne Johnson faces two new counts of child molesting. Jeffery Dewayne Johnson(Vanderburgh Co. Jail)Deputies say this comes after the victim was interviewed Friday at Holly’s House. They say the the molesting happened several years ago when the victim was very young. Johnson is currently awaiting trial after he was charged last spring with 10 counts of child molesting involving two other victims. Authorities say those crimes also happened several years ago. Court records show a pre-trial conference is scheduled for Monday in that case, with the trial set for November 18. No court dates are listed yet in the new case. Copyright 2026 WFIE.
