Acronis appoints cybersecurity veteran Panjwani as CEO
Cybersecurity firm Acronis has named Prakash Panjwani as its new chief executive. Panjwani’s predecessor, Jan-Jaap Jager, will hand over control but will remain involved with the business as a key shareholder. Warren Adelman, chairperson of Acronis’s board of directors, expressed gratitude for Jager’s achievements since becoming leader in November 2025, including advances in its cybersecurity product centred on AI and ecosystem growth.
