HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Three men were arrested on Oahu as part of a statewide multiagency operation targeting internet-facilitated sexual offenses against children.
Jackson Tili, 26, Alexander Delooze, 30, and Kevin Diaz, 42, were arrested and charged after authorities say they solicited individuals they believed to be children for sex, then took substantial steps to meet up with those “minors” for the purpose of engaging in criminal sexual acts with them.
Instead of minors, the suspects were met and arrested by law enforcement officers, officials said.
One of the suspects was charged with commercial sexual exploitation of a minor while two were charged with electronic enticement of a child in the first degree.
Two of the suspects are civilians and one is an active duty service member with the U.S. Navy.
The arrests were part of Operation Keiki Shield 29 under the Hawaii Department of the Attorney General.
The ongoing operation involves officers and agents from county, state, federal and military law enforcement, including the Honolulu Police Department, the Department of the Attorney General Criminal Justice Division ICAC Task Force, Hawaii Attorney General Special Investigation and Prosecution Division, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and the United States Secret Service.
