AT&T has integrated Google Home Premium capabilities, powered by Gemini for Home, into its Connected Life home security service, introducing AI-powered features designed to improve home monitoring and simplify security management.
The integration makes AT&T Connected Life the first home security product built on the intelligence of the Google Home Platform with Gemini. The service uses AI to provide more detailed notifications about household activities, including deliveries, package details and visitors.

New capabilities include Searchable Video History, allowing customers to find recorded footage using natural language queries, and a daily Home Brief that summarises video recordings and household activity into an easy-to-read overview. AT&T is also introducing 24/7 continuous video recording, enabling customers to review footage beyond individual event-based clips.
Beyond camera-based monitoring, AT&T is exploring ways to use its network infrastructure to make home security more intuitive. Connected Life already supports automatic arming and disarming based on a customer’s geographic proximity to their home.
The company is also investigating how existing AT&T Wi-Fi signals could support proximity and occupancy sensing, potentially expanding home awareness without requiring additional dedicated sensors.
AT&T said it will continue developing network-based sensing capabilities to transform home connectivity into a more intelligent security and awareness platform, reducing the need for customers to manage routine security tasks manually.
