Summer is coming to a close, and Broward County Public Schools begin on August 11th! Students of all ages walk or ride their bikes to school and Broward County wants to ensure children arrive safely. Always remind your children to always look both ways before crossing the road. Don’t forget, it is important for kids to remain free of any distractions and be aware of surroundings. Lastly, always make sure a helmet is worn. With school around the corner, it is important to prepare students for a successful year both in and out of the classroom. In addition, the Florida Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday starts August 1st and runs through August 31st. This allows families to save money on school essentials. Looking for a job in Broward County? The Northwest Regional Library in District 3 is hosting a job fair on Tuesday, August 26th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
