LGU+ Online and nationwide sales
Bolt Tech Korea will join hands with LG U+ to introduce a monthly subscription service that monitors whether personal information is leaked and even provides compensation for replacing digital devices. It also checks whether personal and financial information has been exposed on the deep web and the dark web and informs users.
On the 29th, Bolt Tech Korea announced that it has launched a home digital protection service ‘PC Safe Pass’ with LG Uplus.
PC Safe Pass consists of three services: ‘My Family’s Personal Information Security’, ‘Smart Device Replacement Compensation Care’, and ‘Smart Device Data Cleaning’. Cyber risks such as personal information leakage and problems that may occur in various smart devices such as PCs and tablets are grouped into one subscription product.
Our family’s personal information security, which is the core, is a service that continuously monitors whether personal information and financial information registered by users are exposed to the general web, deep web, and dark web. You can register email addresses and mobile phone numbers, passport numbers, credit card information, and bank account information. When potential information leakage is detected, a notification is sent to the user so that they can respond.
In addition, BoltTech Korea provides personal information protection and monitoring services through European insurance and auxiliary service group Europe Assistance. LG U+ sells PC Safe Pass in the form of a monthly subscription on online channels and stores nationwide.
“PC Safe Pass is a product that combines device protection and personal information monitoring as a single service,” said Koh Kwang-beom, CEO of Bolt Tech Korea. “We will support LG U+ customers to protect their entire digital life more broadly and respond to emerging cyber risks.”
