Chester Zoo advertises tickets for ‘child predator tour’ | #childpredator | #kidsaftey | #childsaftey

Chester Zoo unwittingly advertised tickets for a “child predator tour”.

The zoo suffered an unfortunate naming blunder after it promoted tickets for its latest tour, which allows visitors to experience a guided tour of its big cats and predators.

On its website, the zoo in Cheshire advertised tickets for the “adult predator tour” and the “child predator tour”.

The zoo quickly became the butt of jokes online, with one social media user saying: “How did that get approved?”

Another said: “This has given me such a chuckle this morning.”

“Suspect there’s plenty of calls to the local constabulary,” added another.

On the zoo’s website, it was advertising a new private tour for guests who want to catch a glimpse of their predators.

It said: “Discover the predators of the animal kingdom, and their prey in our brand new guided tour. You’ll be the first visitors in the zoo as you board our electric tour bus and enjoy 90 minutes of the zoo all to yourself!

“Come face to face with some of the zoo’s most iconic animals, away from the crowds, including our family of Sumatran tigers. Your expert tour guides will be on hand to share fascinating facts about some of nature’s most effective hunters.”
