LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) –
For any parent or grandparent who has struggled to install a child’s safety seat in their vehicle, there is a place to turn for help!
Saturday, September 26th from 9AM to noon, stop by the Lake Charles Fire Department at 4200 Kirkman Street for a free seat check. Staff can help install car seats, or check to make sure yours is installed properly. They can also instruct parents on how to make sure their child is properly restrained.
No appointment is needed, just drive up and a trained technician will inspect your vehicle.
