JOHANNESBURG – Joburg Child Welfare is calling on police to act with urgency on preventable child abuse cases.
It comes after the death of a 4-year-old girl allegedly at the hands of her father, despite clear warning signs.
Social workers say her death could have been prevented.
Abubakr Hattas, CEO of Joburg Child Welfare, said his organisation is dealing with 18 cases in Eldorado Park.
