Coalesce Capital has made a strategic growth investment in Workstreet, an AI-native cybersecurity and compliance services provider, expanding its portfolio of technology-enabled services companies focused on mission-critical business solutions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The investment will support Workstreet’s next phase of growth through expanded investments in talent, technology and go-to-market initiatives as demand for cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance services continues to increase across regulated industries.

Workstreet’s founders and management team will remain significant investors in the business, reflecting a continued commitment to the company’s long-term growth strategy. The partnership also aligns with Coalesce Capital’s investment approach of backing founder-led, high-growth companies that combine specialized expertise with technology-enabled service delivery.

Founded to simplify security and compliance for growing organizations, Workstreet provides AI-powered cybersecurity, compliance and privacy services to enterprise customers operating in highly regulated sectors worldwide. The company serves more than 1,000 customers through a platform that combines artificial intelligence with experienced cybersecurity and compliance professionals.

Its services span governance, risk and compliance (GRC) programs supporting more than 35 regulatory and certification frameworks, including SOC, ISO, FedRAMP and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The company also offers virtual chief information security officer (vCISO) services, penetration testing, vulnerability management and privacy consulting.

“We built Workstreet to take the burden of security and compliance off the plates of fast-growing companies so they can focus on their core business,” said Romeen Sheth, co-founder and chief executive officer of Workstreet.

Sheth said Coalesce brings deep knowledge of the cybersecurity and GRC markets and shares the company’s belief that combining experienced professionals with AI-powered technology creates a differentiated service model. He added that the investment will enable Workstreet to continue expanding its team, technology capabilities and customer base.

Stephanie Geveda, founder and managing partner of Coalesce Capital, said organizations face growing complexity as cybersecurity threats evolve and regulatory requirements continue to expand.

“The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving,” Geveda said. “Keeping pace with expanding compliance frameworks and security and privacy requirements demands significant internal resources that most growing companies would rather devote to their core business.”

She said Workstreet has developed a differentiated platform that combines domain expertise with artificial intelligence to help transform compliance from a regulatory obligation into a business growth enabler.

Austin Heiman, managing director at Coalesce Capital, said the investment reflects the firm’s strategy of partnering with next-generation technology-enabled services businesses that solve critical customer challenges.

“Workstreet sits at the intersection of accelerating demand for security and compliance and the emergence of AI as a force multiplier for expert services,” Heiman said. He added that Coalesce plans to support the company’s expansion into additional compliance frameworks and new market opportunities.

The transaction comes as organizations face increasing pressure to comply with evolving cybersecurity regulations while protecting digital assets and customer data. AI-powered compliance platforms are gaining traction as enterprises seek to automate labor-intensive governance processes without sacrificing expert oversight.

Coalesce Capital manages more than $1.8 billion in regulatory assets under management and focuses on investments in human capital-driven and technology-enabled services businesses. For Workstreet, the partnership provides additional capital and operational resources to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing cybersecurity and compliance services market.

AGC Partners served as financial advisor to Workstreet, while Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough acted as legal counsel. Latham & Watkins served as legal advisor to Coalesce Capital.
