Antonio Manuel Cervantes, 82 of Rome, a convicted child molester, was jailed this week after reports said he violated his terms of release.
Reports said that Cervantes failed to report his move from a home on North Broad Street to 218 Waters Street back in October 2025.
Police said that Cervantes was convicted of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated child molestation and child molestation in 1998.
Cervantes is charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
