JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Puerto Rico police arrested a convicted sex offender following a Greene County Circuit Court Judge’s issuance of an order of nationwide extradition and failure to appear warrant.

According to Telemundo Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Police Arrests and Extraditions Division arrested 42-year-old Jonathan Enoch Bricker on Wednesday, July 23, at San Juan Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Bricker in 2019, according to court records, struck a plea deal in Greene County on two counts of distributing, possessing sexually explicit child material; 28 of those charges were nolle prossed. He was required to register as a sex offender.

In 2023, he was arrested in Baxter County for failure to register as a sex offender or report an address change.

Court documents say he took a negotiated plea in 2024 to Obstruction of Governmental Operations and received 68 days in the Baxter County Detention Center.

While that case was happening, a motion was filed to reopen the Greene County case.

Following the Puerto Rico arrest, and back in Arkansas, court documents say he is supposed to appear before a judge.
