AUTAUGA COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – Court documents have revealed more details about the arrest of a Prattville High School teacher, who is one of five men charged in an online child predator sting.
The Prattville Police Department’s sting involved undercover chat operatives posing as 15-year-old children. According to court records, Brian Pittman, 47, went to the Tru by Hilton hotel in Prattville on the night of March 12 with “the purpose of engaging in unlawful sexual acts” with a 15-year-old.
An undercover officer was at the hotel posing as the 15-year-old. Authorities say Pittman communicated with the person he believed to be a 15-year-old via text messages and agreed to oral sex and other sex acts in exchange for $60.
Pittman was arrested and charged with one count of electronic solicitation of a child and one count of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act.
Four other men, Aron Clay, Kircharr Black, Jermaine Lyles and Jeffrey Beasley, were also arrested in the sting on the same charges.

Jail records show Pittman has since bonded out of the Elmore County Jail on a $90,000 cash bond.
Autauga County Schools said in a statement to WSFA 12 News that Pittman has “been placed on administrative leave and removed from campus.“
