Crush Security has appointed cybersecurity industry veteran Jeff Skeldon as vice president of sales, completing a series of executive leadership hires as the AI-native cybersecurity company accelerates national expansion and prepares to showcase its platform at Black Hat USA 2026.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said Skeldon’s appointment strengthens its commercial leadership as it scales its AI-powered cybersecurity platform, which combines software procurement, systems integration, compliance automation and threat intelligence to help chief information security officers (CISOs) manage increasingly complex security environments.
Skeldon brings decades of experience building enterprise cybersecurity sales organizations. He joined security solutions provider Accuvant in 2005, rising to director of sales for Southern California before remaining with the business following its merger with FishNet Security to form Optiv in 2015. At Optiv, he served as vice president of sales for the western United States through 2018 before moving into senior commercial leadership roles at cloud security company Netskope and, most recently, software supply chain security provider ArmorCode, where he served as vice president of worldwide sales.
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Josh Jones said Skeldon’s experience building some of the cybersecurity industry’s most influential go-to-market organizations makes him well suited to lead Crush Security’s next stage of commercial growth. He added that the company is seeking to redefine how enterprises evaluate, purchase and manage cybersecurity technologies by providing organizations with greater visibility and control across their security programs.
In his new role, Skeldon will oversee the company’s sales organization as Crush expands adoption of its integrated platform, which is designed to help organizations simplify cybersecurity procurement while improving governance, operational efficiency and technology management.
Skeldon said enterprises face growing challenges as the pace of cybersecurity innovation and AI adoption continues to accelerate. He described Crush’s platform as providing customers with a centralized control layer that aligns security frameworks, technology selection, compliance requirements and cost optimization. He added that the company’s mission-first approach and emphasis on trusted customer relationships were key factors in his decision to join the organization.
His appointment follows several additional leadership hires as Crush expands its national sales and partner organization. The company has named Rob Bouknight as regional vice president for the West, Steve Duncombe as regional vice president for the Central region, Ali Alwan as regional vice president for the East, and Jason Eberhardt as vice president of channel development. Together, the appointments establish dedicated leadership across each major U.S. sales territory while strengthening relationships with channel partners.
Crush Security’s platform combines software resale, systems integration, automated compliance and AI-powered cybersecurity intelligence into a single offering. The company also provides Cassandra, an AI assistant designed to function as a virtual security architect by helping organizations evaluate security technologies, improve governance and manage cybersecurity programs more effectively.
The leadership expansion comes ahead of Black Hat USA 2026, scheduled for Aug. 1-6 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Crush plans to use the conference to introduce its expanded executive team while hosting customer and partner events designed to increase brand awareness and showcase its platform to enterprise security leaders.
