WILMINGTON, DE — CSC has received a 2026 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Award for its domain threat intelligence technology, recognizing a platform the Wilmington-based company reports increases detection of relevant external cyber threats by an average of 23%.

The company’s 3D Domain Security and Global Enforcement solution won the Threat Intelligence Innovation category in the 10th annual awards program, which recognizes cybersecurity products and technologies.

The platform targets threats originating outside corporate networks, including phishing campaigns, fraudulent websites, brand impersonation, malware distribution and unauthorized digital infrastructure.

CSC combines artificial intelligence, machine learning, proprietary domain intelligence and human analysis to identify suspicious domains and coordinate enforcement actions across digital channels.

The technology monitors threats affecting brands through social media, search engines, email and e-commerce websites, extending security monitoring beyond traditional corporate network defenses.

CSC reports that the system produces an average 23% increase in relevant threat detections. The company did not specify the measurement period or comparison baseline underlying that figure.

The solution operates through CSC’s DomainSec platform, which provides domain monitoring and risk assessment capabilities for enterprises managing extensive portfolios of websites and digital brands.

A proprietary DomainSec risk score evaluates potentially malicious domains and prioritizes those presenting the greatest threats, allowing security teams to direct investigative and enforcement resources toward higher-risk activity.

The system also identifies dormant domains that could be used in future attacks, addressing risks that may not be apparent through conventional monitoring of active malicious websites.

“Domain-based threats sit at the center of phishing campaigns, brand impersonations, traffic diversion, malware distribution, and rogue digital infrastructure,” said Ihab Shraim, chief technology officer of CSC’s Digital Brand Services division.

The company’s approach reflects growing enterprise demand for security tools that monitor external digital assets and infrastructure alongside internal networks.

CSC provides domain registration, digital brand protection and domain security services to corporate customers. Its threat intelligence platform is designed for organizations managing multiple brands, business units and geographic markets.

The CyberSecurity Breakthrough recognition covers the company’s integration of domain intelligence, automated detection and enforcement capabilities into a single enterprise security offering.
