CyberKord raises €2.7 mn to automate IT and cybersecurity with AI | #hacking | #cybersecurity | #infosec | #comptia | #pentest | #ransomware

Italian cybersecurity startup CyberKord has raised €2.7 mn in pre-seed funding to develop an AI-powered platform that automates IT operations, investigates security incidents and resolves technical issues with reduced human intervention.

The funding round was led by venture capital firm 360 Capital, with participation from Plus Partners, Addendum Capital and Vento.

CyberKord raised €2.7 mn in a pre-seed round led by 360 Capital, with participation from Plus Partners, Addendum Capital and Vento.

Its AI platform uses a digital twin of corporate IT infrastructure to investigate incidents, simulate fixes and automate corrective actions.

The Milan-based startup plans pilot projects with major European companies in manufacturing, technology, healthcare and telecommunications.

Founded in Milan in 2026 by Alessandro Maggio, Dragos Tanasa and Cosimo Michelagnoli, CyberKord is developing software designed to reduce the manual workload involved in managing corporate IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations.

The company is targeting the gap between identifying security threats and resolving them. Existing cybersecurity tools can detect suspicious activity within minutes, but investigating incidents and implementing fixes frequently require considerably more time and direct involvement from technical teams.

As businesses expand their infrastructure and deploy additional software and AI agents, the number of operational tasks continues to increase. Faster and more frequent cyberattacks add pressure on security teams to investigate and resolve incidents before they cause further disruption.

CyberKord uses AI and digital twins to automate security operations

CyberKord’s platform combines artificial intelligence with a digital twin of an organisation’s IT infrastructure to identify problems, investigate their underlying causes and simulate potential solutions before implementing corrective actions.

The system can initiate automated workflows from cybersecurity alerts, IT support tickets or messages received through Microsoft Teams and Slack.

Once an issue is identified, the AI analyses the available information, determines its probable cause, tests the proposed resolution through the digital twin and applies corrective measures using the organisation’s existing tools.

The platform supports cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure, allowing businesses to introduce automation without replacing their current technology systems.

Organisations can determine how much autonomy to grant the AI, including which actions it can perform independently. All actions are recorded and remain available for review, giving IT and security teams visibility into automated processes.

Companies add infrastructure, software and AI agents every week, and operational work grows faster than any team. As a result, the time of expert professionals ends up in patches, access requests and incidents, one ticket at a time
Alessandro Maggio, co-founder and CEO of CyberKord

“We built an artificial intelligence that does that work on its own, from start to finish, and shows every step. The team chooses how far to let it act and takes back time for architecture, projects and the decisions it was hired for,” said Alessandro Maggio.

The company aims to reduce the time technical specialists spend on repetitive maintenance, access management and incident response, allowing them to concentrate on infrastructure development, strategic projects and decisions requiring human expertise.

CyberKord plans European enterprise pilots and team expansion

CyberKord will use the €2.7 mn investment to advance development of its AI automation platform and begin its first pilot projects with large European enterprises.

The initial pilots will target organisations in manufacturing, technology, healthcare and telecommunications, where complex IT environments require continuous operational and security management.

The startup also plans to expand its workforce, prioritising technical development and commercial positions as it prepares to introduce the platform to enterprise customers.

The planned pilots will provide CyberKord with an opportunity to deploy its technology in large corporate IT environments, combining automated incident investigation and remediation with organisation-defined controls over AI actions.
