Daniel Cormier has denied leaking a controversial direct message exchange on Sunday night.

The Hall of Famer was on commentary duty with Joe Rogan and Jon Anik at UFC Freedom 250.

Just before they went on air, Daniel Cormier‘s X-formerly known as Twitter account – shared screenshots from an apparent direct message conversation with Eric Trump.

Daniel Cormier did not leak the messages

President Donald Trump‘s son seemingly asked Daniel Cormier if he knew about any ‘rigged’ UFC White House fights during their alleged conversation.

“I’m probably going to get a lot of flak for bringing this to light, however I refuse to stay silent,” the UFC legend’s caption read. “The UFC is a sport I am deeply passionate about. I will not tolerate this type of insider behavior. Shame on anyone trying to ruin this beautiful event.”

With everything that was going on, ‘DC’ didn’t get the chance to address the issue until after UFC Freedom 250.

“They are not real,” Cormier said when asked about his X post by Nicholas Ballasy.

“I can’t believe you guys believed that. Who believes that?

“I got hacked or something. Who believes stuff like that? That’s crazy.”

He added when directly asked if he posted it: “No. Why would I do that?

“Yeah, absolutely,” Cormier signed off when the journalist asked if the people saying they saw his account post the messages are wrong.

Eric Trump believes Daniel Cormier messages are AI

Eric Trump quickly denied sending the viral Daniel Cormier ‘rigged fight’ UFC White House messages.

“This is completely fake! I have never reached out to Daniel. In fact, this is scary,” he tweeted.

“We are aware of the fake, AI-generated screenshots being circulated online,” Trump added. “I have never spoken to Daniel. He has since deleted his post, which confirms it was clearly fabricated.@UFC @danawhite.”

Cormier appeared to back up Trump’s version of events by posting, “Are people really this dumb?”

However, the former dual-weight champion didn’t say anything more until after the fights were over.

It appears Cormier will spend the rest of today figuring out how someone hacked one of his social media accounts.
